Lin Yi's Lantern

Lin Yi's Lantern

Brenda Williams,
Benjamin Lacombe

In this gentle story we meet Lin Yi who faces a moral dilemma. Lin Yi's mother has sent him to the local market to buy food for the Moon Festival, but what he really wants is a red rabbit lantern. Will he barter well enough to be able to buy one? Lin Yi learns that doing the right thing for its own sake is the best course of action, and that luck may shine on those who act morally.
